Sardar Patel Stadium, also known as Motera Stadium, is the world’s largest cricket stadium situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This Stadium was first to build in 1982. Now, this Stadium is reconstructed and will have a seating capacity of approximately 1,10,000 more than doubling its previous seating capacity of 54,000. Motera Stadium will displace Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Stadium as the world’s largest stadium.
The president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Ganguly reacted to the venue and revealed the Motera Stadium on Twitter. It is expected that US President Donald Trump inaugurates this world’s largest Cricket Stadium. The reveled pictures of the Motera Stadium created a lot of buzz among the fans and players.
