In addition to reservation, there will be an upper age-limit relaxation of up to five years for ex-Agniveers from the first batch and the subsequent three batches applying for the post of Constable. This age relaxation acknowledges the maturity, skills, and experience gained by these individuals during their service and provides them with an extended opportunity to pursue a career with the BSF.
The amendment to the recruitment rules will come into effect from March 9, emphasizing the government’s commitment to promptly facilitate the inclusion of ex-Agniveers in the BSF.
