Nowadays, the Indo-China border tension is the biggest ongoing tension on the border. After a violent clash with Chinese soldiers in the Himalayan region of Ladakh in the deadliest clash in nearly 50 years, around 20 Indian soldiers have been killed. The New Delhi blamed Beijing for this clash in Galwan Valley close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC), where the Indian and Chinese Soldiers have been affianced in a deadlock since the early last month. The BJP general secretary said that the border confrontation with China is partly due to India’s declaration of ownership of its land.

The increased Indo-china border tension amid the two nuclear-armed countries have exhausted international concerns with the UN insistence both sides “to exercise maximum moderation.” In the year 1962, both sides fought a brief and bloody war over the separation of the border in the area.
